Untitled photo

I shot this photo on Saturday night. I was at Afrika Burn in the middle of the Karoo, South Africa.
The ground was hard like marble. It resembled the skin of a albino python. Fine, delicate desert flowers had grown out of the thin cracks in Earth’s shell. The life had almost dried out of these plants. The thermometer had reach 42 degrees celsius earlier that day. As summer now begins, soon these flowers will be gone and the ground will be left bare.
Any suggestions for a title are most welcome.

Beauty must needs be passing.
I loved the swish that the dry stalks made as one walked through them. Tickled by the Karoo.

This perfect circle reminded me of both the placenta that feeds the child during gestation and the mothers belly before birth.
