    Is The Divine in any sense weak or is the author telling us about his own self-possessed godlessness?

      Hi John

      To answer your question in one sentence:

      The book , by John Caputo, looks at the life and teachings of Jesus as an event of “weakness” from the perspective of humanity, but shows that Kingdom of God and therefore Godliness is found in selflessness, the first shall be last, turning the other cheek, the meek get to inherit the earth, self-sacrifice (the cross).
