I turned the page on my diary this morning. ( yes, the type that you write in with a pen!!) I looked down to the bottom of the page and read the quote of the week……….

I like it!! I usually get started with a Neale Donald Walsch “God wants you to know”. I can’t tell you how beautiful that picture of the harbour is. Is that you? If so, may I be envious?

Thanks for the compliment on the photo.
Yes, it is a photo of me sipping on white wine. My wife, Theresa, took the photo last year while we were on holiday at Lake Como, Italy. The photo was taken from inside our hotel room. I was sitting on the small balcony overlooking lake.
It was a truly beautiful setting.

Ahh, I love it. The only thing you have is what you give away. The 10th commandment not to covet. Laying down your life to take up abundant life. When I let go of “mine” then everything in existence becomes “ours.” Beautiful!

I fully agree!!
Lately, I been considering “imitatio Dei” as an authentic way to experience Godde’s Spirit. Jesus has shown us how to give of ourselves and then we need to consider the birds and the lilies (Mat 6:26 Luke 12:27)
